Our Story
Tallow Gardens began in a small home kitchen, out of frustration with two things: ultra-processed seed oils in our food and long, unpronounceable ingredient lists in our skincare. We wanted something older, simpler, and closer to the way our grandparents ate and cared for their bodies.
What started as a personal experiment—rendering clean, grass-fed beef tallow for our own cooking and dry skin, quickly turned into a calling. Friends and family felt the difference, asked for jars, and kept coming back. That’s when we knew this had to become more than a side project.
Today, Tallow Gardens works with trusted Canadian farmers who raise cattle on pasture and take pride in how they steward their land. We still render in small batches, filter slowly, and keep every jar as close to the source as possible. No shortcuts, no fillers, just honest tallow, crafted to nourish your kitchen and your skin.
